Anita Mui Yim-Fong (Anita Mui Yim-Fong) is a Hong Kong singer and actress who has made significant contributions to the Cantopop music industry and has won numerous awards and honors. She has been an idol throughout her career and is usually considered the Queen of Cantopop. Her full name was Anita Mui Yim-Fong, dubbed The Madonna of Hong Kong. She was a great singer with a powerful voice and enthralling performances.

Her fame spread to other Asian countries including Singapore, China and Malaysia. The award-winning idol was yet another short-lived star lost too early to the cold hands of death. She fought with cancer; she lost the battle on December 30, 2003, at the age of 40.
