AVICII

Tim Bergling, aka Avicii was a Swedish musician, DJ, record producer and a dance music star that rose to limelight with his single, Levels followed by his debut studio album, True and the popular lead single, Wake Me Up. His other outstanding works include Hey Brother, Waiting for Love and Addicted to you. At the age of 16, Bergling began posting his mixes on electronic music forums, which led to his first record deal. In 2011, he became famous with his single “Levels”.

Avicii suffered numerous health complications as a result of poor mental health and drinking problem. This led to his early retirement from live concerts in 2016. His sudden and untimely death in 2018 shook his fans and the dance community who would miss his stellar live performances at festivals and clubs. No one knows for sure if he ever went to alcohol rehab while alive but we hope he at least had his investments and finances in order.
