Mel Gibson got his career breakthrough thanks to the Mad Max movies and his role as Max Rockatansky. A role that was later handed over to Tom Hardy in Mad Max: Fury Road. He is also best known for the Lethal Weapon franchise and his role as Martin Riggs. Other than being an actor, this legendary actor has also tried his hand at directing films and the most notable of which would have to be The Passion of the Christ.

This is the highest-grossing film he has to his credit, which was followed 2 years later by the movie Apocalypto. It took a while for him to put out a new film, but 2016 saw him release his third directorial outing, Hacksaw Ridge. His other movie appearances include The Expendables 3, Machete Kills and will appear on both Boss Level and Last Looks in 2021.
