ABRAHAM LINCOLN

Abraham Lincoln had an IQ of 150 despite having minimal formal schooling. Largely self-taught, he became a lawyer nonetheless and, of course, the 16th US president. His many achievements include abolishing slavery by passing the Emancipation Proclamation and leading the Union in the Civil War. A skilled speaker, he delivered what is probably considered the most famous presidential speech in American history, the Gettysburg Address. Although Lincoln, who was also called Honest Abe, never got to see the end of the war, he left a legacy of being a shrewd military strategist and an honest leader.

Long before winning the presidency, the former President used to own a tavern in Illinois. However, his booze business did not last long. It unfortunately fell into debt, so he soon abandoned the bottles for law books instead. Who knew this great man used to be a bartender?
