THOMAS JEFFERSON
US President Thomas Jefferson was not just a founding father. He was also regarded as the “father of national architecture.” As an architect, he contributed to designing the University of Virginia, building the first government establishments in Washington, D.C., and overseeing the construction of Monticello, a 5,000-acre plantation located in Charlottesville, Virginia.
Jefferson owned so many books to feed his brains and sold them to the Library of Congress right after it was ravaged by the British. Aside from architecture, he also lists achievements in agriculture, paleontology, economics, food and wine, music, astronomy, and writing. In case you’re wondering, he is credited for doubling the size of the US with the Louisiana Purchase in 1803. He also wrote the Declaration of Independence. With these many feats, you’ll be easily convinced that his IQ is high at 160.
