Aside from being known as a rapper, singer, and songwriter, Snoop Dogg is also a producer and entrepreneur. Like Eminem, Cordozar Calvin Broadus—Snoop Dogg’s real name—was discovered by Dr. Dre. In 1993, Snoop released his debut album, Doggystyle, with Death Row Records. The album topped the Billboard Top 200 albums, the first from numerous records he released in and out of Dre’s record label.

Fun facts: Snoop’s first cousin is also a chart-topping artist, Brandy. He has a processed meat brand named Snoop Dogg’s. Snoop has been working with city officials to distribute turkeys to less fortunate residents of Inglewood, California. In 2016 Thanksgiving, he handed out 3,000 turkeys. Snoop hired a moving company in 2007 after he sold his home in Claremont, California. He bought the house for $660,000 and sold almost thrice the price. In 2020, Snoop Dogg’s net worth was $150 million.
