DIANA ROSS – EST. $250 MILLION
Forget about the Grammy’s, and let’s focus on Diana Ross’ fortune. This former member of The Supreme has made a name of her own. She was born in Detroit, Michigan, in the 1940s, while her singing career started at age 15. The Supremes’ final lineup was in 1962 after Barbara Martin left. Although the group was successful, with Motown Records’ help, Ross decided to leave the band in 1970.
She then started performing as a soloist and sold 100 million records worldwide. Ross has released 30 records and charted six number-one hits on Billboard Hot 100 throughout her solo career. She also tried acting, among which was Mahogany in 1975 and The Wiz in 1978. Although she does not have a Grammy under her name, she would still come out with her Tony Award, credit cards with almost no credit limit, and a $250 million net worth.
